Melton H. Little, Attorney at Law, started his career as a Attorney at Law in 1986 practicing at Schofield & Little, P.A. At that time, he was admitted to the Florida Bar. During decades of his career, Melton Little always practices with the highest level of ethics, honesty, and  perseverance. He always strives to find the best ethical legal decision that would satisfy his clients.

Melton H. Little is a founder and managing partner at Kallins, Little & Brosious (Hard Ball Law), a boutique law firm in Manatee County. The firm believes in standing up for what’s right and fighting hard for clients. The firm specializes in the areas of civil trial, personal injury, medical malpractice, healthcare, trusts and estates, and marital and family law.

Education


Melton Little received his undergraduate degree in public administration from Samford University in 1983 in 1983 and his Law degree from Cumberland School of Law in 1986.

Currently, he is pursuing a Masters of Law Degree (LMM) in Health Law and Policy at Hofstra University.

Membership & Associations


A long-time resident of Manatee County, Melton Little is committed to giving back to our local community. He has been actively involved in a wide variety of local organizations and has served on many nonprofit boards. During his career, he has also logged over 600 hours of pro bono legal services donated to those in need.

Melton was instrumental in organizing the Kallins, Little & Delgado Scholarship Program, which awarded over $195,000 to more than 65 Manatee High School Seniors. In addition, he has  actively coached youth basketball, soccer, and football for several local schools.

In 2003, he was awarded the Boys and Girls Club National Medallion, the highest honor the club can award to a volunteer. His dedication to the community was also recognized in in 2004 when he received the Manatee County Bar Association Community Service Award and again in 2013 when he was given the Manatee County Bar Association William C. Grimes Award for Lifetime Achievement in Community Service.
